Yakult is a Japanese probiotic milk-like product made by fermenting a mixture of skimmed milk with a special strain of the bacteria Lactobacillus casei Shirtoa.

I wonder why advertisement in TV would encourage to drink yakult in order to have the so called “lactobacillus”. As far as i could remember, My teacher back in Elementary told me that lactobacillus are already present in human bodies, they are a major part of the lactic acid bacteria group. most of its members convert lactose and other sugards to lactic acid.
