Play piano chords. So we went to the mall and we were too busy canvassing piano prizes and and specs. We bought a book and research through the web on how to learn piano chords.

There are many advantages just by playing piano chords, aside from enjoying the rhythms, hubby wants to strengthen his ending and overall style by eighthnote rhythms, i do not know what is meant by that by he usually utter those. He wants to play simple tricks and learn some adjustment from quarter notes to eight notes.

If hubby likes country western, he wants to know how to adjust or transform the songs from a ballad to swing and to country westerns as well. He told me that in learning these piano techniques, he can use several combination as he likes. Amazing, it is.

Cebuanos are very fan of ball games. Basketball, softball, football, etc. but how can you play games in a champions cup if you are being involved? You could watch the match at home or attending it in person. How?

Since ShopWiki is having this online shopping since it finds every store on the internet. There first release in sports buying is Football. They also introduce Football buying guide. For balls, the Buckminster ball has dominated the scene with its hexagonal and pentagonal design. The black pentagons were implemented to help players see the spin of the ball. Training balls are the balls you take to practice or the yard every day and can afford to lose. If you want to keep yours around, I suggest getting a unique colour, so that you can easily find it after practice or a game. So hone your skills on these and wear them out.

Aside from buying, Video games have come a long way since Pong came on the scene. From the latest in fast processors to the best in graphic design technology, video games are always on the cutting edge. A few major systems dominate the market and are in constant competition for the yay or nay of the consumer. There were major releases from all of the major manufacturers in 2006: the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii, and the XBox 360.

For two years being active in blogging and one year of meeting Cebu Bloggers Society, It become so meaningful celebrating its second anniversary.

Local Blogging Community is one of the factors that contributed to this positive development in the blogging scene in Cebu.

The Cebu Bloggers Society was founded on February 14, 2008, with the main goal of uniting Cebu-based bloggers into a well-bonded community. And indeed, after its creation, individuals with diverse backgrounds but with a common interest, which is to promote Cebu and advocate blogging as a key tool for progress, converged together to establish Cebu’s first and largest blogging community.

The Cebu Bloggers Society has really grown and evolved quite significantly. From its humble beginnings, the group presently has at least 80 members and the number is still bound to increase further.

And now, the group is already anticipating its 2nd founding anniversary! Dubbed as “CBS @ 2: The Cebu Bloggers Society 2nd Anniversary Celebration”, the event is envisioned to further strengthen the bond of friendship and camaraderie within the blogging community.

The anniversary celebration will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010, 5-9PM, at the Celebration Hall of SM Storyland, Lower Ground Floor, SM City Cebu.

A big thanks to the following sponsors who rendered their help and assistance:

MAJOR SPONSORS:
SM Foodcourt, SM City Cebu
SM Foodcourt is a cool and comfortable dining place with a variety of good food offerings plus free Wi-Fi service. With such facilities, it is a perfect place for meet-ups.

SM Storyland

Golden Bowl Dimsum
Golden Bowl Dimsum Express started out by an invitation from an SM Foodcourt tenant friend way back in 1997. It was the first Dim Sum in a foodcourt in Cebu. The name Golden Bowl Dimsum, at that time, came from the existing restaurant business, Golden City Dimsum Restaurant, “Bowl” for the smaller store, “City” for the big one.

King Wah Chinese Cuisine
Travel is always the best way to experience culinary diversity and Mrs. Evelyn Lim can personally attest to this. Her travels to China, Hong Kong and to other countries allowed her to savor the different dishes each country had to offer. Enlightened on the joys one can get from gastronomic delights, she was then inspired to share the wonderful experience to the Cebuano people. Wanting her dream to become reality, she opened King Wah Chinese Cuisine. Established on May of 1994 at the SM City Cebu Foodcourt, King Wah Chinese Cuisine made sure that it can provide the best dishes at affordable prices garnished with impeccable customer service.

Mama Gie
Started in 1980 managed and operated by spouses Alfredo E. Costales (deceased) and Virginia P. Costales, the name “Mama Gie” was derived from Virginia’s nickname Virgie or Gie for short and was widely known to friends and peers as “Mama Gie”. Being both food enthusiasts, Alfredo, an Ilokano with a keen business acumen and Virgie, a Kapampangan who is regarded by many as an excellent cook initially put up a snack/fastfood counter at F. Ramos Street in Cebu City serving Kapampangan snack delights like the Pancit Palabok, Fresh Lumpia, Dinuguan with Puto, Guinata-an Bilo-Bilo and Goto Tokwa’t Baboy. Their regular customers then were medical students from Velez College as well as medical representatives.

Little Janice was not the best student in Sunday school. Usually she slept through class. One day the teacher called on her while she was napping, “Tell me Janice, who created the universe?” When Janice didn’t stir, little Johnny, a boy seated in the chair behind her, took a pin and jabbed her in the rear.

“God Almighty!” shouted Janice and the teacher said, “Very good” and Janice fell back asleep.

A while later the teacher asked Janice, “Who is our Lord and Saviour.” But, Janice didn’t even stir from her slumber. Once again, Johnny came to the rescue and stuck her again.

“Jesus Christ!” shouted Janice and the teacher said, “Very good,” and Janice fell back asleep.

Then the teacher asked Janice a third question. “What did Eve say to Adam after she had her twenty-third child?” and again, Johnny jabbed her with the pin.

This time Janice jumped up and shouted, “If you stick me with that thing one more time, I’ll break it in half and stick it up your ass!”

… the teacher fainted!

Argao, Cebu - Come and Visit Argao! i was very impressed when i spent a day with my friends and discover that there are several dependable and free Wi-Fi hotspots in this place. Full Internet access, NO PASSWORDS!!!

The municipality is located at the southeastern portion of the province of Cebu, approximately 68 kilometers from Cebu City. it is exactly between Cebu City and Santander. approximately 26km from Carcar, from Alcoy and from Loon which is across the Bohol Strait.

Compared to Cebu City, Argao i think is the only place i visited with no restrictions in using Wi-Fi, well, depending if its PLDT zone or GLOBE. but no matter the deal is, customer can go everywhere.

The municipal government turned its beautiful plaza into a free Wi-Fi zone. Com to think of it, you were blogging besides the beautiful Spanish-era buildings, beautiful masonry and a lot more enjoying the free high-speed wireless Internet access. It was set up last year by Argao town officials.

Miguel Avila, Smartmatic – TM, demonstrated the steps on how to vote on the 2010 Presidential Election with the use of PCOS Machine:

1. After you have given the ballot, fill it up by shading the oval next to the names of the candidates you wish to vote for. – you need not to write the names of your desired candidate because the ballot has their names already and the only thing you would do is to shade the oval.

2. When inserting your ballot into the counting machine, it won’t matter if you inserted the ballot bottom first or upside down, the machine will scan the pages and your ballot would fall down to the ballot box. – The voting machine is equivalent to 3 precinct which means 1 classroom is to 1 voting machine.

3. After the whole process, the counting machine will count all the votes cast and produce thirty copies of the election returns.

Note that some of the positions will require you to choose more than one candidate, so read the instructions carefully! DO NOT OVER-VOTE!
(If you vote for more than the maximum number allowed. Your votes for that position will not be counted.)

Last December 18, we’ve met again with Ms. Janet in a photo contest during the Keso de Gallo event held at Fatima Parish in Basak, Mandaue. Fortunately, I bagged the third prize but never expected that Ms. Janet is the one who will give me the prize. I received a bag with quite an interesting package so I rummage though it and found — three soaps!

After I have listened and watched all those daunting ads and commercials about whitening soaps, I don’t know if I would still believe in this one. I thought that it was just like the others. Well, Ms. Janet never assured me either if it is effective; she wants me to try it.

I was adamant to use it since I had a lot of skin allergies few years back due to harsh effects of whitening soaps. I was also skeptical with the results. Anyways, I thought that it would save me a budget to buy another soap when this one is already available – so I tried. One morning, I started using the Orange Papaya with Squalene, natural whitening and exfoliating soap is on its label. It was easy to lather on my skin leaving a soft natural fragance of papaya. Hmmm… it was a nice sensual feeling. The aroma is gentle and never stingy to my nose. It leaves a soft and fragrant feeling. It was like a wow with my skin feeling refreshed and detoxified every time I use the soap.

However, I kept everything to myself. I never spoke about the soap that I use thinking that it is just too early to advertise. I want proof from others. I want others to tell me that there is something happening positively to my skin. I did not even have guts to ask my mom, perhaps she’ll think that I am getting too desperate to get whiter and fairer skin.

I never have asked until such time that I ran out of soap. So, I used the organic whitening and anti-aging soap and noticed that it easily diminished its size everyday. Am I bathing too much? No. There was something going around and that is when I found out that my mom, my dad, and my sisters all used the soap! I could never believe it that even my dad use the soap. They were all seeing the results to my skin weeks ago and discreetly used the soap for them to try. “Haha”, I explained. It was a funny experience. They were all enticed to use the soap because I got the results first. This is indeed a whitening soap with faster results!

In just three weeks, I called Ms. Janet again if there is something more for Free. Just trying my luck to get another freebie. In fairness the cost of the soap is very reasonable and affordable, pegged at 150 pesos each. So I just bought another packs of soap.

Its main shop is Health Buff Wellness Shop located at Unit 22 (2nd) level Doña Anita building E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City. Since I am here in Cebu, I do not have to go there. I just let Ms. Janet bring me my orders every time she comes here.

Travis Payne, Michael Jackson’s choreographer contacted Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and arranged a surprise visit to meet all inmates of Cebu Provincial Detention And Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC). According to Payne, Michael Jackson used to watch the videos of these prisoners during break time from his tour. He was a fan of more than 1,500 Filipino inmates who performed the choreography for his video “Thriller” in 2007 and created a viral hit.

Headlines were posted in every newspaper in Cebu. Payne spent two hours on Sun., Jan. 17, and Mon., Jan. 18, teaching the dancers the routines from Jackson’s posthumous “This Is It” film.

According to Yahoo News, “The Drill” is the last scene Payne and Jackson worked on together before the pop icon died in June. The clip was released over the weekend, days before the Tues., Jan. 26 release of the “This Is It” DVD.

The CPDRC performance videos of Jackson’s “Thriller,” “Dangerous,” and the Village People’s “Y.M.C.A,” among others, are all well done.

But Payne, who worked with Jackson for more than 10 years, was able to take their performance to new heights. Their rendition of Jackson’s “TheyDon’t Really Care about Us” is comparable to the scene in “This Is It.”

Posted in New York Times, Bryon decided to post videos of the prisoners dancing online to publicize some of the positive changes he implemented at Cebu since joining the staff in 2004.cebu.
